Grief Therapy

There is no single right way to grieve.

A supportive place to bring loss, change, and the emotions that may come with them.

A Supportive Space

Start with what is happening now.

Grief can affect daily life, relationships, identity, and a sense of what comes next. Therapy offers room for your experience without prescribing a timeline.

I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where healing and growth can happen at your own pace. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to meet you where you are.

Losses People Bring to Grief Therapy

  • The death of a spouse, parent, child, friend or pet
  • Divorce or the end of an important relationship
  • A loss of health, work or independence
  • Moving away from a home or community
  • A pregnancy loss
  • The life you expected that did not happen

What Grief Therapy Looks Like

Grief therapy is not about moving on or getting over it. It is about finding ways to carry the loss that let you keep living. Sessions may include telling the story of the person or the life you miss, noticing how grief is showing up in your body, sleep and relationships, and making room for mixed feelings like relief, anger or guilt.

There is no timeline. Some people come in weeks after a loss and some come years later. Both are welcome.

Starting Out

Sessions are held by secure telehealth anywhere in Arizona or Oregon. A free consultation of about 15 minutes comes first, then an intake. Individual sessions are $200, and couple or family sessions are $250 if you are grieving together.

Grief in Relationships

Grief can also strain relationships. Partners and family members often grieve differently and at different speeds, which can lead to hurt and distance. Couple and family sessions can help people grieve alongside each other.

Going Deeper

Grief Takes Many Shapes

Grief is not only about death. It can follow a divorce, a move, a lost job or a life that turned out differently than you expected. It rarely moves in neat stages.

Sessions give you room to talk about the person or the life you miss, notice how grief is showing up in your body and relationships, and find ways to carry it that fit you.
