A Supportive Space

Start with what is happening now.

Therapy can make room for what feels difficult to name while helping you identify methods that support movement and reconnection at your own pace.

I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where healing and growth can happen at your own pace. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to meet you where you are.

How Depression Can Feel

  • Heaviness, sadness or numbness most days
  • Losing interest in things you used to enjoy
  • Low energy, even after rest
  • Sleeping much more or much less than usual
  • Harsh thoughts about yourself
  • Pulling away from people who care about you

What Therapy for Depression Looks Like

Depression often tells people that nothing will help and that reaching out is pointless. Therapy starts by making room for how heavy things feel, without rushing you. From there, sessions may focus on small, realistic steps: noticing the thoughts that pull you down, bringing back pieces of routine and connection, and finding what gives you even a little energy.

Grief and big life changes can bring on depression, and depression can also show up with no clear reason. Either way, you are welcome to start where you are.

Starting Out

Sessions are held by secure telehealth anywhere in Arizona or Oregon, which can help on days when leaving the house feels like too much. A free consultation of about 15 minutes comes first. Individual sessions are $200 after a $250 intake.

Small Steps Count

When you are depressed, even small things take real effort. Getting out of bed, answering one message or eating a real meal all count. Therapy notices those steps and builds on them.

How Sessions Can Help

Depression is one of the concerns Crystal most often sees. Sessions may draw from CBT, ACT and mindfulness-based approaches, with small, realistic steps instead of pressure to feel better on a schedule.

You do not need to know whether it is depression, anxiety or both before you reach out. If you are ever in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.
