A Supportive Space

Start with what is happening now.

Anxiety can show up in thoughts, the body, relationships, and daily decisions. Crystal offers non-judgmental telehealth support grounded in your experience and goals.

I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where healing and growth can happen at your own pace. I believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to meet you where you are.

How Anxiety Can Show Up

  • Racing or looping thoughts about what could go wrong
  • A tight chest, fast heartbeat, upset stomach or tense muscles
  • Trouble falling or staying asleep
  • Avoiding calls, places or decisions because of the dread
  • Needing reassurance or checking things again and again
  • Irritability or feeling on edge for no clear reason

What Therapy for Anxiety Looks Like

Early sessions focus on understanding your anxiety: when it shows up, what it tells you and what you do to cope. From there, the work may include noticing and questioning anxious thoughts, learning ways to calm your body, and gradually facing the situations anxiety has been steering you away from, at a pace you choose.

Sessions are held by secure telehealth for people located in Arizona or Oregon, so you can practice new skills in the same places anxiety tends to show up.

Starting Out

A free consultation of about 15 minutes comes first, then an intake where the goals for treatment are set. Individual sessions are $200 and are usually weekly for the first 6 to 8 weeks. The full list of rates is on the Fees page.

When Anxiety Has Company

Anxiety often travels with other things: low mood, trouble sleeping, stress at work or intrusive thoughts. You do not need to sort it all out before you reach out.

How Sessions Can Help

Anxiety is one of the concerns Crystal most often sees. Sessions may draw from CBT to notice anxious thought patterns, ACT and mindfulness-based approaches to make room for uncomfortable feelings, and somatic tools to help your body settle.

If anxiety shows up as intrusive thoughts, checking or needing reassurance, the work can focus on those loops too. It all begins with a free consultation of about 15 minutes.
