Clear blue cove seen from a clifftop

Borderline Personality Therapy

Intense emotions do not make you too much.

Care for people living with overwhelming emotions, relationship ruptures, and fear of abandonment, without judgment or stigma.

You Are Welcome Here

Your experiences deserve care, not labels.

If past experiences with the mental health system left you feeling dismissed, blamed, or misunderstood, you do not have to minimize that here.

Therapy can create space to understand emotional intensity and relationship patterns while honoring the insight, resilience, and context you already carry.

Skills and Understanding

Support for the moments that feel impossible to hold.

Crystal may draw from DBT and IFS to support emotion regulation, distress tolerance, self-understanding, and more intentional responses during painful moments.

The work is collaborative and moves at your pace. It is not about reducing you to a diagnosis.

What It Can Feel Like

  • Emotions that come on fast and hit hard
  • Intense fear of being left or rejected
  • Relationships that swing between very close and very painful
  • A sense of self that shifts from day to day
  • Acting on impulse in the heat of a moment, then regretting it
  • Feeling empty or numb when things go quiet

How Therapy Can Help

Therapy offers a steady relationship where big feelings can be understood rather than judged. DBT skills can help with getting through the peak of an emotion, lowering intensity over time and asking for what you need in relationships. IFS, or parts work, offers a gentle way to understand the part of you that reacts so strongly and what it is trying to protect.

Progress can look like more space between a feeling and a reaction, fewer ruptures in relationships and more trust in yourself. It happens at your pace.

Starting Out

Sessions are held by secure telehealth for people located in Arizona or Oregon, usually weekly for the first 6 to 8 weeks. A free consultation of about 15 minutes comes first, then an intake. Individual sessions are $200. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911 in an emergency.

What You Can Expect

You can expect to be treated as a whole person, not a diagnosis. Sessions are collaborative, the pace is yours, and hard moments in the room are treated as chances to practice, not as failures. If you have been hurt by past treatment, you are welcome to say so, and that can shape how the work begins.
